Score any staffing vendor — including us
Twenty questions we think you should ask every agency, MSP, and VMS provider you evaluate. Score them as you go. We publish this knowing it will occasionally be used against us, which is rather the point — a vendor unwilling to be measured on these is telling you something.
Ask, score, compare
Score each answer 0 (no or evasive), 1 (partial or verbal only), or 2 (yes, in writing). Your progress saves to this browser, so you can work through it during a vendor call and come back to it. Nothing is sent to us.
What the number means
This is a rough instrument, not a procurement model. Use it to find the questions a vendor cannot answer cleanly — those are where your risk sits.
- 32–40. A serious partner. Move to references and a pilot requisition before signing anything long.
- 24–31. Workable, with gaps to close in the agreement. Get the weak answers written into the contract.
- 16–23. Proceed carefully. Usually a capable sales team ahead of an operating model.
- Below 16. You are buying a promise. That can still be right for a single requisition, but not for a program.
- Any zero on compliance questions (7, 8, 9) outweighs a good total. Those are not tradeable.
Send us the twenty questions
We will answer every one in writing, including the ones where our answer is currently weaker than we would like it to be.
