Privacy policy
How we handle information submitted through bluwtr.com and during recruiting and staffing.
Effective date: October 5, 2026
Blue Water Staffing LLC (“Blue Water Staffing,” “we,” or “us”) provides healthcare staffing services. This policy explains how we handle information submitted through bluwtr.com and during recruiting and staffing.
Information we collect
Our website has forms for contact inquiries, job applications, facility staffing requests, urgent coverage requests, on-assignment support, and newsletter signup. It also has a chat window, described below.
Depending on the form, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, city and country, reason for contacting us, urgency, and a message. A job application also asks for years of experience, professional license status, earliest start date, notes, and a consent checkbox response. Professional license status is identifiable information about the clinician.
Facility requests may include facility details, state, specialty, shift pattern, number of openings, start window, and requester contact details. An on-assignment support request may describe a payroll, housing, licensure, scheduling, or clinical concern. Newsletter signup collects only an email address.
Clinicians may also provide contact information and documents required for consideration for a job, hiring, or credentialing. These may include a clinician’s own medical documents where required for hiring or credentialing. Blue Water Staffing does not request patient medical records for those purposes.
Do not put a patient’s name, medical record, or other identifying patient information in a general website form. To report a clinical concern that involves a patient, email compliance@bluwtr.com and describe the concern without names, record numbers, or other details that identify the patient. We will contact you to follow up and, where the concern belongs with the facility, direct you to its reporting process.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries; review applications and qualifications; contact clinicians about opportunities and assignments; fill facility requests; handle on-assignment issues; send requested newsletters; and meet legal obligations.
Before submitting a clinician’s information to a client facility, we tell the clinician what the facility requests and obtain the clinician’s agreement. Hospitals, health systems, and other client facilities receive the information agreed to for that submission.
We do not sell personal information or client information.
Where information is kept and who handles it
When you submit a form, it is stored by Netlify, our website host, and emailed to the relevant Blue Water Staffing mailbox. Submitted information may then be kept in our applicant tracking system, company email, and files on company computers.
Depending on the work involved, information may be handled by providers of email and productivity services, applicant tracking and customer relationship management services, background check and credential verification services, and employer-of-record or payroll services. We describe these providers by category.
Blue Water Staffing has remote staff in locations around the world. Authorized staff may access information needed to perform their work from outside the United States.
Chat window
The chat window is provided by GoHighLevel, our customer relationship management provider. Nothing is sent to GoHighLevel until you click the chat button. When you click it, GoHighLevel receives your approximate location based on your IP address, the page you are on, and how you reached our site (for example, the referring website or campaign tags in the link), and stores a record of your visit in your browser. If you send a message, GoHighLevel stores your messages and any contact details you enter, and we reply in the chat or by email. Do not share Social Security numbers, bank details, license documents, or patient information in chat. A deletion request includes chat records held by GoHighLevel.
Information kept only in your browser
The website stores the following in your browser’s local storage: your light or dark theme preference, job listings you save, your vendor scorecard answers, your credential checklist progress, and the last set of figures you entered into the pay calculator. None of it is transmitted to us. You can remove it by clearing this site’s browser storage.
If you open the chat window, GoHighLevel also stores chat settings and the visit record described above in your browser.
Apart from the chat window, which loads only when you click it, the site has no analytics, tracking pixels, advertising cookies, third-party cookies, session cookies, or login. We will update this policy before adding analytics or tracking.
Calls, texts, and email
We may call or email you about an inquiry, application, opportunity, or assignment.
We send staffing-related text messages only to people who check an optional box that starts unchecked. Leaving it unchecked does not prevent you applying or contacting us. Text consent is not a condition of employment or placement. Message frequency may vary, and message and data rates may apply.
Text consent is offered to clinicians only. Facilities, health systems, and suppliers who contact us are not asked for it and are not sent marketing texts.
On a job application the checkbox reads:
Text me about my application (optional) — I agree to receive text messages from Blue Water Staffing about my application, opportunities, assignments, scheduling, and credentialing at the mobile number I provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of employment or placement.
On the contact form it reads the same, scoped to the enquiry rather than an application.
Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for assistance, or START to opt back in. When you reply STOP you receive one confirmation:
Blue Water Staffing: You have been unsubscribed and will no longer receive text messages from us. Reply START at any time to opt back in. For assistance, contact Blue Water Staffing directly.
Newsletter recipients can use the unsubscribe method in a newsletter or email help@bluwtr.com.
Retention and deletion
We keep the information you give us until you ask us to delete it. We may keep some information longer when state or federal law requires it or when another lawful reason applies, such as an active assignment or dispute.
You can request deletion at any time by emailing help@bluwtr.com or telling a Blue Water Staffing representative you are speaking with. Please allow 72 hours for us to process a verified deletion request. If we must retain some information, we will explain what we cannot delete and why.
Security
We limit access to information to people who need it for their work. No way of storing or sending information eliminates every risk.
Our website is hosted by Netlify. Information submitted through a website form is stored by Netlify and sent to us by email, and our email runs on Microsoft 365. Chat messages are stored by GoHighLevel. When you ask us to delete your information, that includes any copy held by Netlify or GoHighLevel. Staff accounts require two-factor authentication, sign-ins from unrecognized devices require additional verification, and email is encrypted using Microsoft 365’s standard protections.
